Next season

Young kids with all the enthusiasm in the world, that haven't yet been exposed to the uptight world of al golden and mark Dorito. I remember Howard, duke, bush and McCord had that same enthusiasm. Once they get a dose of Paterno Light they will be walking zombies like our current players

So it's not really that far fetched to think we get a handful of freshman from this most recent class and ones that redshirted last season to rock this up coming season.
 
This is when Golden's legit first class will be Juniors, we'll see how it goes..

aside from firing a certain assistant coach, nothing Golden does from now until the start of the season will please me.

i hope to see a good spring game where
0: no injuries
1: defense actually tackles
2: Olsen outperforming Williams
3: our D line can actually bring pressure

but even then, it won't and shouldn't be enough to erase the sting of going 2-4 last 6 games. with the 4 losses being blowouts.

the only inexcusable loss is VT IMO... the lousville game was an inexcusable performance but had we played well and lost it wouldn't have been a shocker.. duke was reasonably legit this year so I ain't really mad.. and FSU is FSU.

I love Artie Burns and I think he will be a good one here...but outside of special teams, he appeared to struggle mightily when he got on the field this past season. I don't know if he is the best example of a guy having a breakout freshman season.

Losing dts rbs n lbs will keep us from getting over the hump. If BK is as good as i think he is we will lose 2 games fsu but we wont be blown out, Cook will kill us tho. Ill take 2 losses n e time with where we r right now, right now i would pick fsu but that can change depends on what i see on the field with both squads.
