I think a lot of fans on this board forget that we have been missing the talent that we now posses. A lot of the talent is young but to think that duke, Tracy and deon will be juniors is great!

We are in for a great season whether Williams, Olsen or kaaya win the qb spot. Talent all around (skeptical on dt).

same **** every offseason. next year will be the year when its the year. I still see mad holes pretty much everywhere and would be suprised if we do better than 9-3.

QB, FB, OL have huge question marks
DT isn't even question mark, its soft. LB is a question mark.

QB & DT maybe. OL? **** will be solid. We have some great talent waiting in the wings there. And Walter Tucker will be just fine at fullback in limited action. Who needs a full time FB when you run the WR/TE sets we do? FB is the least of my worries. I'm more concerned about our kicking game than that.

Licking? Lol

Every offseason it's the same thing. Maybe we "let loose" with Williams, who was evidently incapable of replacing an awful Morris on his worst, fake limping, awful game.

Maybe losing Hurns is no big deal. (the only consistant producer on offense)

I doubt it.

I think "Wait until 2015" will be the word on the skreets about halftime of the UL opener next year.

Fb isn't a huge role, but we use it a lot in the running game. Tucker was barely recruited to play football anywhere, and now he's gonna start as a RS Fr. Plus he has no backup. I didn't say its the biggest problem we have but it qualifies as a question mark.

OL got their **** pushed in against every good team we played. We lose Linder and Henderson and Bunche. We have no established depth either. Some good pieces there and I hope the young guys step up, but its a question mark to me until proven otherwise.

I will definitely agree with you that the short yardage game last year was abysmal.

It seems like every year our "best" players are the ones that have never taken a snap of college football.

BKF keeping it real...

I hope you're right, but I've got no reason to genuinely expect such a massive change from a coaching staff that has shown consistent stubbornness. I want to believe that a shift will happen, but my hopes are not high and I'll believe it when I see it.

So if I understand this correctly, our Freshmen are going to rock this year?

Well, I've heard the same damned thing for three years now, and each year, it's like, "what's happening here?"

Continuity. You all heard Golden say that crap.

Continuity.

Burns my ***.

Be let loose? What does that even mean? Golden gonna bring back our glory days? LULZ

He says all the right things about embracing Miami's history and whatnot, but the way he coaches is the furthest thing from what he speaks about.

Golden is the dude who talks **** while telling his friends to hold him and saying things like, "You're lucky they holding me back!"

I hear you, however, we are lead by the Juniors who will not put up with losing to Duke, as they twitted, when it happened and they were out. The juniors will lead this team and the incoming freshmen, like the sophomores will fall in line.

I guess we are just hoping they can come in and provide a spark for their team.

Upper class talent this year was not good. Just look at these mock drafts. Many of them have no canes going in the first few rounds. Unless a team decides to take a chance on Henderson. Linder is what 4th round ish?

Overall Talent level has been down for a few years

The real talent is older this year, Mccord, Duke Tracey flowers and a hand full of others will have this team moving forward in the right direction. Finally!

Andrew,

Which players are you talking about that are the "best" without taking a snap? I only see Tucker brought up in this thread, and FB won't make or break any season! Nice hyperbolic talking point there.
