and many more to come...

its only a few more years until multiple canes are going in years and years in a row

His short area burst for a man his size was amazing, unblockable when motivated....

He and Jerome were the best we ever had

IMO Wilfork is the best we've ever had. There's plenty to choose from though that's for sure.

Sorry love Wilfork but Sapp was one of the best DT in college football history and the best in UM history..

I disagree... Wilfork was just as much of a beast as Sapp while at Miami and currently in the NFL. Wilfork is the star of that Patriots defense which will go down as one of the best ever teams in NFL history when it's all said and done. Wilfork will also be a hall of famer.

Brown, Wilfork, Sapp, Kennedy, how can you go wrong? Three of those 4 will be in the hall of fame. The other one tragically lost his life in a car accident.

True about Jerome Brown, and there is no question he was on his way to a Hall of Fame career. Many more Canes' names will be called over the next several years. It's crazy how many players we have who you could make the argument for greatest of all time at their position, e.g., Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. At the end of the day, they might not be, but no one would deny they would be part of any sensible conversation about who is the best.

Possibly AJ & wayne with a couple more good years heck throw in Edge too.

From a selfish standpoint, I hope you are right. My son and I have Sapp, Lewis, Reed, AJ, Wayne and Edge signed framed pro jerseys!

We also have a signed & framed Ray Ray jersey....nobody's perfect :(

The classic fan dilemma. He may be a douche, but he's my douche. He may tell you to eff off at the airport when approached for a high five or pic, but he definitely put an exclamation point on swagger being synonymous with the U and put his stamp on the program as one to be feared in CFB.

It was great hearing his canes references as he hasn't always been so supportive of us. He was for short bursts as good as any DT ever and definitely more athletic.

It wasn't just short bursts. I watched him dominate the skills competition at least 2 years in a row. Big, strong, fast, agile, confident, arogant and determined. A player's player he raised all his team mates level of play.
He deserves this honor.
GO CANES!!!!!

What I meant by short bursts was his bursts off the ball where he was past OL before he knew what hit him.

Still a huge douche.

hes earned it
"It's a Cane thing, you wouldn't understand." He is and always will be FAMILY. I love my family. EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. On their best days they had our backs. On their worst, the LEAST we can do, is have theirs. 99 Welcome to the hall and you are forever a Hurricane legend. Thanks for making something so important to me, so dam wonderful. Go Canes
