Looks like this rule is going to get approved and I think it is retarded. If coaches can't adapt they need to move on and do something else. This has nothing to do with safety.

Over half of college football runs the hurry up. I don't think this rule passes. Too many teams will be affected by this.

Why should teams be penalized for maximizing the talents of the players they have available to them?

Also, if an offense substitutes the referees stand over the ball to give the defense a chance to substitute as well. It's not like offenses are shuffling in different packages and the defense is left holding their ****.

This is ridiculous. It's a ploy by the coaches that don't run that scheme to get a competitive advantage. Saban and Bielema don't want to get abused, so they cry that's it's for player safety. The offensive lineman are hurrying too. Quitcherbichin and adjust. If they get caught with their pants don't because their defense didn't have time to adjust, then hopefully we will see a lot more of this:
