LOL I'd be shocked if this actually passed. Everyone is going to vote it down just because Saban voted it up.

If Saban were smart he'd just shut his mouth.

I remember when the NCAA was voting on the 3 point line and Bobby Knight knew he had one of the best 3 point shooters in college at the time. He also knew that if he supported the 3-point shot then the rest of the coaches would probably vote it down, so he did some 3rd grade reverse psych on them and got what he wanted...the 3 point shot.

No, that's the exception to the rule. When there's under 2 mins. left, teams can snap the ball at anytime.

Yeah, but what if you're down by multiple scores, and as a result, go into hurry up mode earlier. I guess then you are pretty much SOL. It's comical that they didn't even think about the fact that teams may go into hurry up mode before the two minute mark in the game.
 
No way that gets passed. So what, when teams are running out of time and running the hurry up, they have to wait until the play clock is 29 secs or less?
