New practice field

I'll give Blake James credit, he always seems excited about getting **** done for the football program.

This is still mind boggling to me. That should've been objective 1 when kids set foot on campus.
All this is needed and more. Compared to other football programs of the same caliber or even less. UM has been slacking as far as the WHOLE FOOTBALL PROGRAM is concerned. I mean UM JUST STARTED with implementing a proper nutrition program. Lol wut?????? Meanwhile other programs have had anywhere between a 3-5 year head start.

Will Greentree All-Americans still be called Greentree All-Americans?

"Underachieving pieces of ****"

Again, idk how you can say we're "underachieving". We don't have a lot of talent on this team... plain and simple. What we have are a bunch of players that play hard and that's about it.

You familiar with the term GTAA?

Greater Toronto Airports Authority?

nope...

I dont think people have any idea just how BAD the last two regimes were. Am not going to say this staff has not had some issues, but I dont think people fully appreciate just how much work Golden has had to put in to rebuild this program from the ground up. We had almost a DECADE of players grossly out of shape, with no nutritional program, and an S&C program that pretty much consisted of "hit the gym when you feel like it dude". These are basic and foundational things that a team at this level should have. That we didnt.

There's really no excuse not to have an indoor facility. Tons of the good 5A high schools in Texas have them now, and even lots of 4A-3A programs are getting them. We're talking about towns with 6k population, but Miami, where it rains daily, can't get one???

Good. Get better facilities so we can attract a top notch coach in two yeara.

No more bullsh*t young up and comers either. I want Saban, Meyer, or Gruden or just shut down the program. IDGAF how much it costs. Shut down the Medical School if you have to, pay our HC 10 million a year. LEts get it DONE!

What the **** happened to this board? Did the shut down the WEZ or something?

This place is infected with azzholes I find whatthehells avatar particularly offensive but all I should say is.....Yes sir, you are.

I agree. Close Jackson Memorial Hospital and hire a proven, competent coach who will bring us a national championship god dammit.

How about take one million of that seven million as a signing bonus, and get one serious, bad-*** defensive coordinator.

**** on the field.

This board has become a cesspool and needs a massive fumigation to eradicate all these butthurt ******y fans who claim that they root for the Canes. Big difference between being critical and wishing death upon the coaches, players, and their families. Go get a hug or start meditating because you worthless vermin are taking years off your lives by crying about how a bunch of 18-22 year olds are performing on Saturdays.

Interesting, I wonder how much of impact (if any) this will have on recruits....

CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Miami is trying to get its football team a lighted practice field and other upgraded facilities.

The school will unveil what it calls the Football Victory Fund later this week. It's a $7 million project that will allow for the construction of an artificial turf practice facility, a new dining area for Miami's 400 athletes and four cold-water recovery pools that school officials say are "necessary for the hot and humid climate of South Florida."

The Associated Press obtained an advance copy of the plans. Construction timetables hinge on the rate of fundraising.

Earlier this year, the school opened the $15 million Schwartz Center for Athletic Excellence, a facility that includes meeting rooms, academic areas, locker room space and training facilities.
