New portal OL

I recall Manny (**** him, btw) advocating for changes to the 25 rule specifically to replenish the roster due to transfer losses. It's not sustainable.

It’s completely unsustainable. Every time a new staff is hired there is an exodus of players that leave and need replaced. On top of that now second and third year players who don’t see significant playing time have no reason to stick it out when they can transfer and play more elsewhere.

Something has to change with the transfer rules.

Imagine if Diaz were actually fired this week? The new coach could field a team of 50 players for the 2020 season.

There needs to be no limit, or at least an extended limit how many you can add from January to August if nothing else...This is totally unfair to teams.

Hope he's as good as Tommy Kennedy.
Not disagreeing, but given how sorry our corches are at you know coaching, it seems possible that Kennedy might be able to play and Diaz and Enos just don't care to play him. Could he really be THAT much worse than the 7 or 8 we trotted out against Duke?

I always thought we need to add at least 4 OL this offseason. Numbers are way too low.

- Kennedy

+ Reed
+ Rivers
+ Washington
+ Baynes?

Awesome ***** taking JUCOs too

JUCOs tend to have 2-3 years left. That’s fine.

I didn’t say take none. I said you have to be selective. We are already near the max of this class and we still need more bodies at DB. We suck right now so I don’t see the point in mortgaging the future for another 1 year rental unless he’s a sure fire stud starter. We took so many transfers last year and barely any paid off.

Oh by the way, this kid was a reserve for Ole P!ss this year, not even a starter. So fee free to waste another IC on a backup lineman.

I'd tell Reed to F**k right off

If he's worth a dman...I thought he was, no idea. But let's assume he's better than Hillary, which isn't saying much.

Then that means his little soft "I'm leaving" tantrum help cost us the Duke game after we lost 3 starting O-line. I wouldn't welcome him back at all.

Would definitely take him as a one year stop gap at tackle. Would allow Zion to redshirt and add more strength. Would also allow Washington to redshirt and not be counted on so soon.

I just read an article where it says miami cant really dip into the portal much with the hard cap being 25. But maybe we can we are 21 now do we have 4 commits left? Theres prob going to be acouple decommits too

Remember Tatum from recruiting a few cycles ago, 6’6 315 now and has started multiple games at Tennessee

Was also the worst rated pass blocker on the team in those 5 games he started and he was beat out by 2 freshmen this year and put back into a backup type role. He plays but doesn't start, only the games Wright missed due to injury.

I get it that we suck on the oline but it doesn't make sense to jump up and down for everyone else's backup transfers at 1 year rentals.
