Is he better than other low ranked OL we've gotten like Chris Washington?
He's got Zion Nelson potential written all over him, but unlike Zion (until 2 months ago), he will have the best OL training in the country.Awesome news! He might just be a 3-star, but I really like how fluid an athlete this kid is for an OT.

Given we've got two of the top OL coaches/evaluators in the country (Cristobal and Mirabal), anyone they want on the OL has got to have real potential. Is he better than other low ranked OL we've gotten like Chris Washington?
He's 6-6 with good feet & athleticism & just moved to OL 1 year ago...I disagree. Huge ceiling. Not a particularly high ceiling, but may be a nice rotation/serviceable guy. Welcome to the U, youngster!
We'll see. I hope I'm wrong. He's 6-6 with good feet & athleticism & just moved to OL 1 year ago...I disagree. Huge ceiling.

Or say a Chris Washington? So I asked before for the experts/filmwatchers - how's McCoy compare to the OL the current staff dropped that signed with Ole Miss?

And presumably won’t be starting as a LT as a true freshman. He's got Zion Nelson potential written all over him, but unlike Zion (until 2 months ago), he will have the best OL training in the country.
I think they’re similar as it pertains to size and athleticism. Both have long arms and good knee bend. I think McCoy’s 280-290 wt is perfect entering college. Make no mistake the Most important factor with OL recruiting is Coaching and Development. Not necessarily where the kid is, but where coaching and development can take him. Of course along with the right S&C and nutrition making sure the OL have the right bodies to perform at a High level. I trust Mario and Mirabal in this aspect to maximize and make our OL a strength of the team.So I asked before for the experts/filmwatchers - how's McCoy compare to the OL the current staff dropped that signed with Ole Miss?
