I am actually glad they did as it helped clarify how it would affect us. Besides, it's not like we weren't one of, if not the biggest (besides PSU) reasons they passed these new rules.

Per their official language, this won't affect us:
Pursuant to amended Bylaw 19.11.1, in cases where the violation occurred prior to October 30, 2012, the hearing panel must deviate from the core penalty guidelines if the applicable core penalties from the guidelines are harsher than the penalties that would have been prescribed under the enforcement structure previously in place.
In other words, unless the original punishment is going to be more severe than these new guidelines, then it won't affect us. Either way, we'll get the lighter punishment of the two proposed scenarios.
