In all due respect, I think citing a source of Ye is probably not the best.
No one is taking away anyoneās āfreedom of speech.ā If they didnāt have freedom of speech they would be arrested, tarred & feathered or publicly executed. Thereās a stark difference in freedom of speech vs. reaction to whatās said. As an example: if uāre at a bar & a guy comes up to u and say, āU punk *** bytch; Iāll fck ur girl right now, pu$$yā, thatās his freedom of speech invoked. The consequences that ensues thereafter is incumbent of how offended u feel.
If uāre troping language about ****** being a good guy, death to Jews, admitting u meant to be racist, then thereās a great chance a global sponsor is going to drop ur a$$ b/c, by extension, uāre a representation of them.
I know exactly what Kyrieās contract states, from fine print & all. Kyrie is a person who choose to go against the grain, which was fine, but when uāre promoting a book that states The Holocaust wasnāt real & greatly exaggerated, then yeah, thereās a good chance uāll be dropped. Just like if an athlete is busted doing PEDs, Domestic Abuse, Drugs, etc. Uāre an extension of this brandās image; so yes, if u do or say chit thatās a poor look towards said brand whoās investing millions upon millions & in some cases, billions of dollars into u, uāre going to get dropped.
