not the same but I got some nike zoom x's, and that black sole part is like already peeling off with what I'd say is minimal use... kinda disapointing tbh. Maybe I just got one with poor adhesive or something.

Not sure if you saw that recent internet article where a former Nike employee said that they have a policy of taking back DEFECTIVE shoes for a year, but you might want to push the issue.
