I hate seeing guys get hurt, but they know when they sign up that they might get hurt. Coaches need to teach proper technique so guys aren't leading with their helmets and you'll see injuries decline.

This will help the Canes because we never kick the ball in the end zone. Our defense had to start at the 40 an awful lot. FSU kicker was kicking the ball out of the end zone and helping their defense and now that advantage is gone.

Well, he's not wrong. The potential for serious injury has been there from the day football was first played. It's not like it's something new. Don't want to risk it? Don't play it. Yes, it's a simple as that. The only way to make the game safe it to make it some other game.
