New Depth Chart

Henderson will get the majority of player time at tackle.

Bush will be a starter once he is fully healthy. I don't expect Bush to play much against FAU.

Henderson will get the majority if not all of the reps at tackle.

Gilbert will gradually take Green's spot IMO. Once he has enough reps under his belt and he can handle the burn.

I think Seantrel will play a lot but Jose Feliciano started over him at RT in 2011 and here we are again. I think the moral of this story is that Bunche is likely suplexing people at LG and Kehoe wants him on the field.

Possibly but I think it is more of a motivational tactic.

All the chicken littles in this thread need to listen to Golden's interview wit Joe Rose from this AM on WQAM. He explicitly states that this depth chart is not determinative of who will start against fau, it is just how things stand today (yesterday) based on the past few practices. He then went on to speak about the OL and how he considers there to essentially be 6 or 7 starters. He went on to list those 6 or 7 guys and Seantrel was the first name out of his mouth.

This depth chart baffles me a little with the Seantrel thing for 2 reasons.....

1 - He's the best RT we have on this team. I don't care about the history he's had here and needing motivation, he's still the best player.
2 - Why would his backup be Feliciano, a guy who has shown he's a better guard than he is a tackle? Why would it not be Bunch, who played LT last year and played well? I understand the idea of getting the top 5 guys on the field, but guys shouldn't bounce back and forth between guard and tackle....those are 2 completely different positions from technique, positioning, etc. We saw a similar thing with Brandon Washington before. I'd rather have Bunche being a swing tackle and keeping Feliciano at guard.

don't you like dancing the Kehoe Shuffle.

thoughts on new draft chart

fans definitely have overrated the following players BUSH,HENDERSON,MCCORD

fans definitely underrated the following players RODGERS and WATERS

LOL

Bush has been injured and is working his way back to full speed.... you do know Deon finished 2nd team Freshman All American right? How are we overrating him?

Also Tyriq McCord starts at DE in nickel packages, again you were saying?

Kacy will never be Bennie Blades but if he can harness his freak athleticism and pick up where he left off last season he could, you know, improve and be decent.

It's subtle trolling like this that I enjoy a whole lot more than your overt nonsense, rok. Nicely played.

Depth charts for Golden are all motivational ploys to reward whoever practices harder. Wait to the bullets start flying for real against UF. You'll see the best players, and not whoever went hardest in drills on a Monday.
