Man, why does everyone have to be a ****? Yes, it's CIS, I know. Still, this is a big moment for him, his family, etc. Let the kid enjoy it and if he busts his ***, maybe he gets in the game one day. Not everyone is a starter, but why crack jokes (that aren't even remotely funny) at his expense? I'm sure he realizes the chance he's taking and he could go elsewhere. It’s pretty much a guaranteed walk-on position. He’ll have to pay tuition and won’t count against the scholarship limit but he won’t have to “try out” to get a walk-on position
