What you don’t want to hear about the defense flying around making plays? That TVD has a different confidence about him? Or that this is most physical Miami team we’ve seen in (however many years since 2001) years?

I'll tell you I definitely don't want the type of physicality that gets half the team injured before week 1. But last year lots of warning signs were clear and the season played out accordingly. If a certain position group or two needs work just say so. If a handful of guys are killing it, verified by multiple people inside the Hecht spill it, just don't compare them to Canes legends. With college having no preseason or scrimmages vs other teams we can only hope they're ready to roll week 1 as a relatively healthy, prepared unit.
