Trilla do some of your research before you attack others. There was a whole thread about the new offers going out, notice I never mentioned anything about commitable offers I was speaking about going after better talent. Has Miami since Golden took over ever signed a guy Paranos has targeted? What has been the success rate for targets Paranos has identified that wound up at other schools?

I like his video. I'm not a technique guy, but no question he's a football player with above average athleticism. In the second clip he takes on a tackle who clearly out weighs him, sheds him, and makes the tackle for a loss. I think kids like this fit with Al's M.O.
 
Finally got a chance to watch the highlights. not bad. First thing that came to mind was Gabe Terry....fast, feisty, and athletic with a frame to get big.

The only downside is that he probably won't be able to contribute right away on the DL.
 
Count me in with the group that is hoping there isn't a commitable offer. Hope it all plays out well.

Considering the way Paranos went after Golden and Cristobal for even visiting some 2013 kids who are borderline guys/ not 4*+ players, I'm surprised it took this long for the topic of discussion to shift towards him. Just an observation from a newb, but it isn't a stretch to understand that if you start accosting Cristobal, an alum who came back to UM instead of considering some more lucrative opportunities out there, for trying to turn UM into FIU (or 'chasing FIU projects'), you'll get a reaction. It's not like Paranos was blasted out of nowhere a la Terry Tate.

There's a way to be constructive, and there's a way to just simply say "do not want," which is the standard from what I've seen (again, as a newb). And there's also a way to be bombastic in such a way that you draw attention and derail the discourse.

He tweeted out today or yesterday that he thinks he won't ever throw the U up after high school. So it appears he doesn't think he is getting an offer. I know he went to a camp. Apparently they weren't all that impressed.
 
Just wanted to update...Canesport has an article up saying we are trying to get this kid to visit next weekend. He is currently scheduled to visit Wake Forest. Seems we are legitimately after him.
