New 2013 offer, OLB/DE Justin Madison

I dunno, looks like he could be on either side of the ball and make plays, and a Tampa kid at that.

Let me tell you. This kid is the real deal. Team I coach for played against him and he was a terror. He is a very nice kid off the field from what I heard from people; pretty sure he was the class president. Has very long arms, very athletic, plays basketball. He will be able to add weight, he is already pretty well put together. Would not mind adding him at all.

Terrible offer list. Hopefully the staff knows/sees something we dont...

Considering we know nothing, I'm guessing they do.
Just saw a mediocre highlight tape with weak offers and not that many spots open in what needs to be a small class with about 6 more way better players we need to close with first to fill those slots. But you probably aready knew that....

Al, is that you?

Unless you're in the heads of the coaching staff, you don't know what they're thinking with this or any other offer they give out.

Oh ok. I know who he is. Good athlete, very good high school player. Was a none factor against us. Pass.

Video didn't look terrible to me. Kid looks physically put together. Good frame to fill out.

This kid gets an offer with Figueroa, Muhammad, and Bond already in this class just as edge specialists and people saying he was a non factor in high school games. Im cool with high ceilings and potential through the roof. Im not saying i dont trust in the staffs judgment, and i definitely didnt say they didnt know what they were doing. I just stated they must know something that we dont, because on the outside it doesnt make much sense in what needs to be a small class. Id rather give an offer to Quincy Wilson, whose in next years class and actually worth offering....

AG and the coaching staff apparently disagree with you.

I think this is big in evaluating. I've heard a lot of coaches look for two and three-sport athletes.

I believe Jim Harbaugh does that, and that's one of the reasons he picked Kaepernick.

Just a hunch but I'm guessing this is another one of those kids the staff said basically:

"Hey we like you. Let's see how things shake out but an offer will be on your way if we happen to miss on our top targets"
