Show me the mass # of Bolles players that go to UF. You can go back to the 80s and 90s...to the 21st century.
Robert Pollard, all world RB/DB, who got kicked out of school around 1995, eventually signed with Nebraska after finishing up at Orange Park HS. Their stacked 95 and 96 squads that had like 10 D1 players didn't send one to Florida. [Edit, their center, Tim Hilliard signed with UiF] Travis Carroll was the #1 HS LB in the country back then and he went to Bama, but transferred to UiF after a few seasons. I'm not saying they've never had a player go to UF...but they aren't a pipeline. Bolles is a wealthy school. You are right in that regard.

Trinity isn't some UM pipeline. They've sent way more players to Top 25 D1 schools besides Miami. Trinity is all the way on the "redneck" Westside of Jax. That's not a knock, but if you know Jax, that's the Westside's rap. And for the longest Trinity had an absolutely terrible program.

Pyburn may come from a Gator family, but going to Bolles doesn't lock him into UiF.

Now how the list of regular students from Bolles that goes to UF and there you have your answer.

This kid’s scrambles are very good for his age, that was a nice double leg shoot vs his first opponent.

He’s got a future as a grappler if Football don’t work out, that kinda natural upper body strength is what fully grown men juice to get in the world of Grappling/BJJ. He takes kids down & just rag dolls mf’ers.

I haven’t watched his football highlights at all because I usually never think we have a shot with Jacksonville kids from Bolles, but just based off how he wrestles, he’s a take in my book.

Tbh I like this dude more than Moss. Moss is 6’6 tho—can’t coach that.

Love kids that don’t specialize and play multiple sports. Don’t understand specializing in HS play what u want once u get to college u can specialize if ur scholarship player lol

None of what he did in that video translates to the next level on the mat, not even in the heavyweight class.

As a pure freestyle wrestler, no, as a grappler yes. I meant in the context if he were transition into BJJ.

He's not wrestling freestyle in that video either. That is folk style wrestling, which may as well be an entirely different sport than freestyle wrestling. I don't think his technique would translate to the BJJ world either. He's winning matches there mostly based on being stronger and a naturally better athlete than his competition. His technique leaves a lot to be desired. His double leg take down shots are lazy and would get his face planted in the mat by any opponent with skill. This kid would be an also ran in any of PA, IA, IL, OH, WI or MN.
