Does that mean FSU has only beaten UM and UF in the same season 1 time?

That 2002 game was painful. I wasn't sure about the Mario hire at the time and our roster was at its worst. It felt like FSU was on the rise and we were going to be at the bottom for awhile. LOL How 2 years has changed that. I'm loving this season and the debacle at Tallahassee

btw in year 2 the fact that we almost beat them in Tallahassee after they just beat us 45-3, it was a good sign that we were getting better

The reality is they are negative ppl stuck in the gap.

That's what I thought they were saying. I'll go with it since it benefits us. However it's not awarded by anybody. Seems like somebody just cherry picking.

I mean it's not really cherry picking though, cause then FSU would have 10x the opportunities to win as the other two. And it's not like people seeing that type of stat and have nuance. FSU would have like 15 Florida Cups, UF 1, and Miami like 4 now lol... You don't want that.

Would love to hear your thoughts on what they did v the pass. Cam's been lighting it up like Marino in '84 (yeah, that old), so was salivating for a beat down. And it was in terms of the run game.
Did we keep it relatively vanilla in the air? Were they just solid in coverage? Wondering if there's now a blueprint on film for how to slow us down.
 
The only reason I'm a little dissatisfied is that Ward could have really taken control in the Heisman race with Jeanty having a low production game against UNLV. Other than that though, I'm stoked.

They played 2 deep safeties basically the entire game. They pretty much played to not get blown out or let Ward go off through the air. He still threw for over 200 though.

This place has always been more arguing about how to be a fan than anything

I’m just happier to do it at 8-0 trying to find negatives rather than the “trust the process” debates that have been the norm the last 20 years

Look, if I told you before game 1 we would be 8-0 at this point and just humbled Trailerhassee U by a nice margin there isn't a god**** one of you that wouldn't have been over the ******* moon with that. Is there room for improvement sure, but we are winning games now that we have been finding ways to lose for the last 20 ******* years.

Lucky for some of you I have a solid contact for Anastrozole, so much estrogen around here.
 
My #1 concern was them taking a cheap shot on Cam or forcing the ball downfield getting greedy. Even with our B/C game, we controlled them from start to finish. We all wanted to see the defense keep them under 20, they were in single digits for 59 minutes. Zero turnovers. That game was never a concern. Never in doubt.

We are 8-0, we are healthy. Keep it rolling.

I recall more than once - we only won by missed FSU kicks. Pucker squeeking game after game, after game when we played them.

I wouldn't be thrilled - but I would have been satisfied if it would have ended Miami - 3. FSU -0.

I'll take it.
