Yeah it's a "neutral site" except 60% of ND's alumni base lives in the Chicago area or within an hour drive.

We definitely got the raw end of this deal. They basically get two home games.

P.s.- I just made up that % ...I really have no idea, but it sounds right

There are so many other dimensions to this game for the University than making sure that the number of fans for each team are equal.

Setting those considerations aside, if you can name one stadium, not including our home stadium, but just barely, where we could play a historic rivalry game against a team with a large national following and not have their fans significantly outnumber ours, then we should have played the game there. I doubt anyone can name a stadium that fits those criteria.

Atlanta would be a start

But they would still have way more fans there than us and it would accomplish nothing besides ostensibly leveling the playing field. We already get exposure in Atlanta and it would just force their fanbase to travel greater distances.

Don't like it? Get you and 40,000 of your closest fans to join the Hurricane Club, make a donation, and buy season tickets.

My all time favorite wins have been in front of a sea of the opposing team's color. Most notable was the 2002 Rose Bowl, which essentially was a red pool of blood. We were a mere speck of green and orange.

I prefer 95% Notre Dame fans.

Who cares, play the ******* game and beat them, end of story. Seems like people are looking for excuses already.

Since its techincally neutral will they paint Miami in one of the endzones? Or will it just say Bears in it still

I get why Miami agreed to play there, but it annoys the **** outta me that they split the Miami ticket allotment up into three sections.
Does no one in Miami's ath. dept. have any balls?
