Franchise, you'd think. I just find it hard to believe all 3 will have the types of years that will justify all 3 leaving. 3 underclassmen from one position? Just seems odd.
Agree. Too many 3rd/4th year kids leave early with no tape. If they hate school then they should transfer to a college that doesn't care about academics. If it is about the money then work harder to win a starting position! The NFL isn't going to pay a kid that doesn't work hard in college without the kid being an Elite talent.

There's no way they'll all have the type of season that would warrant all of them leaving early. Problem is guys often get bad advice from people who want them to leave for their own reasons. Kids also tend to overestimate their own value.
****, former UM FB Carlo Joseph declared early back in the 90s. Remember him?
I can absolutely see the DTs leaving. I think it would be a horrible decision, but we see these horrible decisions constantly.
Norton & McIntosh are thought of very highly by NFL teams w/both expected to be 1st or 2nd round picks (as long as they show the natural progression). Willis isn't really on their radar right now, but most believe he's gone for other reasons.
There's a ton of bad data on early entrant DTs, but as I did during the draft, I'll mention that McIntosh and Norton size up favorably to the guys who have recently been taken early. McIntosh may be a less risky prospect than Malik Mcdowell (big potential, no doubt), for instance, who went 35th overall. After this year, there's a chance Norton shows he's a better prospect than Dalvin Tomlinson, who was the 3rd DT taken in the 2017 NFL draft and 55th overall player.Norton & McIntosh are thought of very highly by NFL teams w/both expected to be 1st or 2nd round picks (as long as they show the natural progression). So while it's against historical data on early entrant DTs, our two DTs seem to make a legitimate case. We shall see what happens.

I just hope that both McIntosh and Norton wait for their official draft grades and then listen to our own coaches after some back channeling. If a kid can get drafted the first two days I have no problem with them leaving, but if you leave just to go third day, then that become a headscratcher.

Are you just talking or you have seen this somewhere? I know NFL teams might have their eye on them but to say they are 1st/2nd round picks today is a little hard to believe. They have one year of tape to go off of.
