thank you , gap integrity for manny was nonexistent.... NC game was prime exampleI agree most teams aren’t in base defense that much but it’s more of a philosophy difference.
Mandy’s defense allowed the line to play reckless and with little gap integrity all for the almighty TFL.
It’s not fundamental football but great for Dlinemen.
Notice the + behind that 300Jordon Scott ain’t been 300lbs since was a freshman at Pinellas Park hs …he was playing hs at 6’1 360lbs
It’s why I said we need to temper expectations, this roster is cheeks esp defensively lol
Somewhere, a certain poster is:

That class may have turned out to beGood luck Nesta hope he balls out where ever he ends up. But man the majority of the players in that 2018 class hit the portal.
Mario used a 3 man front at Oregon and he would have to play over the center and those are not his strengths. We don’t even have a DC. How we know what scheme? I’m not calling anyone out, honestly asking
Look who’s the DCHe would never see the field there.
We got 2 DT that can play, like 1 defensive end, 2 linebackers, and 1 corner. It’s quite sadI'm with you. I said we need to see what additions we make before I even come close to making a prediction for next season. More will enter the portal, but we need to be on top of it and can't fall behind with them.
Again, if we know this then head man obviously does and I am sure he is working to fix it but yes, it's an issue.
ProbablyUtah State
There’s going to be growing pains but I like Bissanthe and the Smiths. We’ve had good young LBs before.Outside of safety, we need an entire portal defense
Same with Lorenzo Lingard?Weird.
Best of luck to him. He had options to go elsewhere. Plenty of them. He choose to come here. Everything else is secondary. He’s family.
