NCAA is Giving Frank Haith the Gas Face

Missouri hiring Haith, for various reasons, might go down as one of the worst coaching hires by a D1 program in history.

This is what I expected. Show me Hurtt and Hill next.

Interesting... if the article is right, it looks like the NCAA couldn't prove anything but still didn't believe Haith, and there was some evidence to support their belief that he was covering something up. This doesn't look good for Haith and our former assistants, but I wonder what kind of punishment we'd end up with, considering we've already had players suspended and everyone involved is long gone.

We've already served our punishment with suspensions, IMO, but if they wanna hit us with a one-year ban then next year is the perfect timing for us.

Anyone else bothered by the "I don't care about the basketball team" bull**** thinking that some people have?

I have so few expectations from this fan base. I have learned over the years that they are terrible and ignorant, it is expected to have behavior like this. People don't care about the basketball team, either because they (a) follow another team OR (b) because they just don't care about the university or other sports programs (this group constantly wants to stab the ******* dyke midget aka Shalala). I posted this in another thread.

People waiting to see if we beat duke before they commit to the rest of the games. Lol Miami fans.

I read a post in another thread saying they don't care about our basketball team. Makes me wonder if people realize that it's better for the entire athletic program, and the school itself, for all of our teams to be successful and visible. :mmkay:

I kid you not, further proof of our terrible fan base. Our fan base also has a bunch of fans who love OTHER BASKETBALL TEAMS.

We call them half-bloods.

My theory is in the 80s when our football team was GLORIOUS, these half-bloods made an allegiance to the football team. The problem was in the mid-80s our Basketball team wasn't as good as our proud football team. They figured, pick another random team and go with it.

You can pick your team but you cannot pick your fan base.[/QUOTE]

I posted some thoughts in the WEZ but we are definitely getting a post season ban if Haith gets the ban hammer.

Either way, it won't be this year, so honestly, I don't care. We're not making the NCAAs next year, so if we have to take a ban, take it in 2014.
