Will the NCAA get involved with the Hernandez situation involving shootings and potentially his Head Coach in Meyer potentially covering things up? 28 arrests in the Meyer era and they skate while we have a rogue booster with the talk of the death penalty?
Someone please give me some clarity.......

Here's something that should be clear to us all: The NCAA ain't gonna touch Florida or Hernandez with a ten foot pole.

There's a bigger chance the Kennedy assassination gets re-opened than Florida being investigated for anything by the NCAA.

Hernandez expecting a free alcoholic beverage should raise some NCAA concern, however, it will not.

unless florida leaves the SEC, nothing is going to be said or done

This isn't trips on a boat or setting up a fake job to give a kid money. This potentially is covering up violent crimes committed by a now notorious murderer, and the story as a whole is being covered by the national media. That doesn't just go away.

Said Hernandez was questioned, would not speak and retained counsel. Would like to know who was his counsel , paid for by who?

NCAA will not step in if laws have been broken. They only care about amateur status.

He does deserve a show cause......Miami gets a horrible rap....but if you look at the circus/asylum he ran at Florida, it's not even comparable.

4 years no bowl.
20 scholarships per year.
60 million dollars.
No amateur status effected.

If PSU can get slammed bc it's coaches chose football over the law, how the **** is UF any different?

Penn State did nothing to jeapordize the amateurism of their student-athletes and got slammed because of one coach who created a felony and 3 higher ups that covered it up. On the other hand, Florida has 40+ arrests (including multiple felonies) and rumblings of Meyer not stepping in and covering things up. Where is the LOIC for the UF admin?

Ohio State gets hammered for getting some tattoos for free but 44 arrests get nothing?

osu got hammered because tressel failed to alert the ncaa that he had reason to believe some of his players had participated in something that would make them ineligible.

the tattoos didn't mean much.

edit: and the proximity of that to the troy smith $500 handshake let the ncaa hit them with repeat offender and ftm
