They allowed 34 points. Pretty simple.

and the offense left at least 14 on the field

You tell any head coach before a game I'll give you 37 ****ing points on offense, they say yes every time. Your defense should not be giving up 37 points to an average ACC team.

and if you tell any head coach before a game i'll give you 4 turnovers in the first half on defense, they say yes every time.

i'm not arguing that it's on the O or on the D. there were missed opportunities on both sides and this game should not be close right now.

You're mad the offense didn't play a perfect game. You pretty much expect them to score on every possession. They had 2 dropped touchdowns and three missed field goals. Conversely, the defense is somewhere near 700 yards of offense allowed and 37 points. There is no comparison.

Both sides have made some good plays,but both have failed when given the opportunity to seal the game.
