I am no fan of ND, but I have to give credit where credit is due. IMHO, ND will play a lot better than people think. Goldens defense is the real deal. ND is solid in every phase and they maximize the use of their talent. Even with all the injuries they have has this season, they get everyone ready. The thing with Al Golden is that he proves that college football coaches can learn, grow and evolve. Golden, Jed Fisch, Thomas Brown, Lashlee are among several former Canes coaches who are doing well at other college programs and the NFL.
Also, if ND plays well or finds a way to win, the NFL will likely throw a lot of money at Marcus Freeman. The job ND has done preparing their players, especially backups, is phenomenal
