I wonder how many teams in college football signed zero corners

In this day and age where u can't have enough, we sign zero

Could we be the only team? Zero corners. Lol

Ryan Mayes is a CB, he has enrolled early.

MBecks, yes he is and that is where he is going to start out. Thanks for negging me.

Nope. 6'2 kids with bad hips don't play corner at Miami

6'2 kids that arent that physical dont or shouldnt play safety @ um either.....

I think his best spot will be as a Boundary corner in the Gunter spot....who doesnt have great hips either..but does a solid to good job for us....

actually glad he is an ee...cuz we will get to see him early on in the spring.....also help him out alot with the utough thing...kid will be a big *** cb imo....

Artie Burns is already aplus size kid at that spot also

Travonte Valentine used the ole' business decision quote for NOLA.com

"When I took my official there, that's when I knew that's where I wanted to go," he said. "Miami is more fun and games while LSU is more business. It's really just a business decision and I think I made the right one for me and my family. My mom and I talked this thing through, we slept on it and we felt like LSU was the best place for us."

You are using the term "elite coaches" and talking about UF?

Better up you meds.

Musckchump is an elite DC just not an elite hc he is more of the corch type of HC

They lost their last game to a team that didn't complete a single pass.

Elite might be a tad too generous an adjective.
So Winston's 327 yards and 3 TD's came out of no where? Ok.

2nd to last game. The team still didn't complete a pass.

After Dominique Easley went down, every team started running the ball easily on them.

Could have just saved his breath and said, "they gave me a bag of cash"

Not like the NCAA doesn't know.
That SI 4 part story pretty much detailed how Les Miles operates.

I'm kinda not that mad at Valentine anymore. He did what's best for him. Until our staff proves that we can coach up Our DL than we can't expect to get all these stud DTs over LSU BAMA FSU and the gators.

the only person to have any animosity towards is gibbons, who made a ***** move at the 11th hour. better program or not, he pulled that out of his *** and didn't give us a chance to replace him.

So, top recruiting classes every year and an "elite" defensive minded coach could stop an FCS team from going all 1920's on them?

Again, save the term "elite" for someone who really deserves it.

Awesome, ESPNU had technical problems with their Lou Holtz segment...That much saliva flying must have shorted an electrical connection!

But it so much fun and games that i would actually have to take another spanish class to be enrolled, that I decided to do business with L$U.

We've signed 3 corners in two years with one being a project (mayes). I will be shocked if that doesn't end up biting us in the *** down the road.

DejaVu?

We will not relive the Shannon years.

Anyone who is upset with Valentine is a clown.

Kid has said he wants to play in an aggressive scheme, and even our own staff writer said his decision has more and more to do with that very fact.

We've actually signed 8 cornerbacks in 3 years and only 1 will be a senior this coming season.

We have more cb's on scholarship than any other position and we have scholarship sanctions.

Perhaps TV means Miami comes across as a Mickey Mouse operation where everyone is just having fun and no matter what happens everyone gets to have ice cream after the game, while LSU comes across as a pre-NFL training ground?

AG and his methods are charmin soft. He has zero killer instinct, no clue what an elite modern program or NFL program is like. It makes sense that a badass kid who is NFL obsessed would see this program as not a fit.

I feel the same way. It is hard to really argue with his decision and even the reasoning for the decision. LSU provides a much better opportunity for him to succeed and get to the NFL right now.
