2025 Nathaniel Marshall 4* DT from Illinois flips to Auburn from Michigan

It's always interesting to hear our insiders say Miami is in a real good spot with said player then they get CB put of nowhere to another school.
Yes but we all know that being in "a good spot " with a recruit is very different than being the clear leader. Add that to the fact that these are 16-18 year old kids who generally speaking can't tell their A$$ from their elbow and change their minds as much as they change their underwear. Keeping that in mind, how many times in the last 2-3 cycles has a kid we are heavily recruiting committed to another school only to have Mario relentlessly wear them down and flip them in the end?

Obviously, we don't get the flip all the time and the fact here is that Michigan can easily be considered the home school for Nathaniel Marshall since he is from the Chicago area. Let it play out.

I just checked and 247 says Nathaniel Marshall did in fact take an OV on June 21. We never could get confirmation the visit was cancelled. It could be that 247 is wrong and the visit was cancelled and they never updated their records. Or it could be that this might be a Mario special type recruitment.

The day Iose committed to Iowa, Rasta went on a posting binge on Nate Marshall. Posting UM related Marshall tweets from the last 2-3 years. My interpretation was Miami was moving on and shifting to trying to flip Marshall.

Guessing my interpretation was wrong. Could be that Rasta got wind of a Marshall flip coming and/or a decommit.
