Like I said a few weeks back the staff told two curious top 30 24 WRs we are locked in at WR.. things change obviously but safe to say Kevin Beard, Dawson and Mario are doing some things.

Thats awesome… how many wrs we taking to be telling other top 30 wrs “thanks, but we good”? 3? 4?

For sure. And I am not saying they would/wouldn't actually be in that role, just that FSU could tell them they will be and every high school kid (particularly highly rated ones) thinks they are going to be 'the guy'

Derrick Gibson...a while back but Butch was the coach. There are others. No one is saying we won't beat them for recruits, but it does make it more difficult. Especially in parts of the state that are semenhole friendly. Last thing, don't forget the semenholes' great recruting asset....FAMU. it's obviously harder when they are doing well. We will still win most, but we will lose some.
It's common sense.

Not hard when FSU is battling Golden and Manny. Mario plus a very good-great Miami team > everyone.

That's not the point. It's good to have some layups locally if you're going national against the bag schools for elite talent (like a QB or DT).

With Robinson we get a desperately needed elite CB.

Sure, we can get a portal QB and hope Emory is good but with Raiola, we get an elite QB prospect and I think he seals the deal on elite WRs.

QB is still the number 1 most important position to me and i think it has a greater impact on recruiting so that’s why I go there. That said, I’d love either.

I see what you’re saying. I just don’t see it happening with Raiola. I also don’t see Robinson flipping hope I’m wrong on that one… If we can’t land him I’d like to see us go hard after Jamari Howard.

I do think we will end up landing Smith and Carr both in this class though.

We should have been going all out for Jamari Howard. He’s local. I’d be thrilled with those WRs for certain. This coaching staff has been doing what they need to on the field. If it’s too late for 24, the portal and 25 will be huge, but we’re still alive for 24 with some elite guys so
