I hope so man. Was my favorite board for years. Couldn't deal with what was going on, got ridiculous over there and the quality of posters went down hill. I still check in from time to time. Saw this place coming up. Shadows board used to be the best. CIS is the best now in my opinion, but back in the day the best was Shadows till it got run down. Now it's just dead but that place was booming for a very long time.

I'm a MOD over there and we are goin to really try and get it back to the reasonable, intelligent board it once was.

Sometime back in the late 90's, I was trying to get a good evaluation of UM's latest recruiting class. I stumbled across Shadow's, and it was by far the best I found that year. Shadow is very insightful and seems to get good inside info.

I would love to see Shadow's Board build back up to give us all another good source.

Didn't Shadow create an invite only version of his board? I was mostly a lurker on his board for a long time and the board got really bad with fighting and poor posts (I think this was in the middle of the Shannon years, but could be wrong). Shadow used to post a decent amount, but it started to be less and less frequent. Eventually it got to the point where him and most of the other decent posters practically stopped posting altogether. Someone told me that there was a private invite only board, but I'm not sure if that is/was true. If it was, I obviously never got an invite (I like to hope that is b/c I barely posted as opposed to my posts being bad).
 
Does anyone elsebthink Olsen is acting like Moran from BMS when Raydon showed up or is it just me?

Same experience, knew the private board was there but never got the invite so left pretty quickly once the good posters took their posts there

The Lounge around that time was the best OT board on the Internet. Lively, smart, fun, not mean spirited. Actually had quite a few Nole regulars on the board back then.......when it was still a respectful rivalry...

Grassy was good back in the day too. But Shadows board was my favorite, everyone had their preference, but man Shadows board was the ****.

And as for the private board I believe so. Didn't post much back then, but I do recall that.
