My Reflection: South Florida Bull****

I keep telling you dudes Stacey Coley is the next Jerry Rice... His route running is off the charts to be a true freshman.. Even in the FAU game he ran a perfect route but lost focus on the ball... Coley and Herb will be lethal for the next couple of years..

Ehh........I'm just happy to have great players again that perform on game day instead of great recruits that never lived to their potential.

I remember seeing Rice in college on the tube. Archie Cooley and the Delta Devils. It was insane. He jumped off the screen. I couldn't believe come draft day some teams actually passed on him. I wondered what they were smoking. Coley has the same "it" factor. The kid doesn't run, he glides.

I agree with Bench. Stat wise, the kid didn't have a great game. But, he kept getting up after getting his **** pushed in. I swore he wouldn't come back after DP put a lick on him in the 3rd qtr I believe it was. But, next possession, he trots back in.

Williams has a very similar throwing motion to Dorsey...no doubt about it.

Let's hope he has at least 60-70% of his football IQ. He's going to be our starter next year for better or worse. He's looked much improved this year so let's hope he keeps getting better.

He is like night and day since last year.

He has been very accurate in short and medium distances. Very accurate. Looks great in those situations, and looks quick, not just foot speed but quick in assessing and decision making.

His long throws were not terribly long, but he hit them.

If Morris had Williams short game and wherewithall, he would be all World, IMO.

His only shortcoming seems to be arm strength, but it looks like he can account for that, like Dorsey.

Still, Morris, when his head is on skraight like the 1st QTR yesterday, is a real weapon.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but this year I'm not seeing the real arm strength issues we always harp on here. Hopefully the kid has matured and strengthened the arm, and its not just my eyes. From the small sample size this year though, I've seen the ball delivered with zip. Not SM zip, but some NFL guys don't have that cannon. QB has gone from an area of concern for me (hoping Olsen would come in immediately to save us) to one of excitement for the competition.

"...Stacy Coley is enough to strike fear into the heart of any opposing secondary. His stride and the way he returns kicks, I cant liken him to ANYONE ELSE but Devin Hester. They have the SAME running style."

Isn't it a bit early to get carried away, partner?

Not carried away. Noone in the game will ever be as explosive on kickoffs and punts as hester was, probably ever again. Im talking about the stride... when I see his stride its so fluid and natural. Coley is like a gazelle. I know he isnt as fast as Hester but he does have elite college speed and the way he makes his cuts at full speed is not like many.

I know what u meant & I agree

It kind of dawned on me that watching Miami with all those 2nd/3rd team kids, mostly freshmen, coming in late in the game, those were the kids that were starting games last year.

Ryan Williams arm strength has improved considerably. I don't consider it a liability anymore.

Go watch the ball he threw to Herb Waters. Tight spiral on a rope.

UTOUGH works for everyone.
