I can't believe people on here would even consider Richards to be a cb...do you realize Richards will be our #2 receiver (I do like Mullins as well). He can be our Amari Cooper this year. He has that type of talent, especially with an elite QB.

That neg is for referring to Scott Patchan who is a Hurricane legacy and who committed while Gluten was still here and never wavered as if he is yesterday's garbage. You do realize that he a a true freshman right? You do realize that he can come back from that injury right? I guess not. Moron!

He is? How? Kid has no arm.

Nothing inflammatory about my ideas or list at all. No one said he was a BETTER cb than receiver. I said he could be a stud at cb (which I am right).

Thanks for the comments. Not sure how I'm a moron, though, when this will be his SECOND MAJOR INJURY since being a high school junior. Oh, btw, he is a REDSHIRT FRESHMAN. Before you insult, know the background of the player.

And being a legacy matters how? Is nepotism also important to you? Every major knee injury this kid continues to get renders him a castoff. Let him graduate on his own dime after next year when he clearly has lost more of the burst that made him good in the first place (and yes I DO KNOW how good he WAS. Key word is WAS).

Go all out for Carney, Wright, and Garvin and this comment will be irrelevant anyways with Bethel and Jackson in the wings.

Appreciate your reply. I'm big enough to realize when I'm wrong and may be in this case. Yes, I am aware of Patchan's injury history and his class status. I'm not sure why I wrote true freshman. I'm not exactly sure why you would bring up nepotism after I referred to Patchan's legacy status. You strike me as an intelligent guy and you know **** well what I meant by my statement. My point was that he is still relatively new to the program and yes his injury is concerning no doubt but don't you think that the staff should give him the opportunity to recover and earn PT? I can understand if he was a 4th year player buried on the depth chart but he is still a RS freshman and it's still possible for him to salvage his career. Again regarding the legacy issue, he was a clearly offered his scholarship because of his ability and potential as a prospect not because of who his dad is. Legacy or not, you don't just throw him out like garbage because of injury.


Nepotism has nothing to do with anything but realistically, the legacy thing does count for something especially in the respect department. The kid committed here early and stuck it out during a time when the situation in Coral Gables was reaching toxic levels and we had a complete buffoon as our head coach. So now the kid has some major adversity through no fault of his own and you want us to just kick his A$$ out the door before he even has a chance to come back? Come on!

Who cares bout arm strength. He is insanely accurate and improved his velocity. Also, he improved the most of our backups. You feel better with Rosier as backup? I sure dont as this offense dosent suit his skill set. Accuracy is more important than arm strength IMO
