I don't buy any of the 20-21 talk. There are too many good players we are in it with. This class will shock a few people and we will be in the discussion for the No.1 class in the nation. 30 players with at least 5 EE's. I also expect a significant amount of attrition between now and the 2017 season.

I think 25 is more realistic. They might be telling recruits they plan on taking 20-22 to emphasize how precious each ride is. But you have attrition every year for a number of reasons, and there's good reason to think the attrition will be higher next year with a lot of Golden's JAGs still on the roster.

I know we need CBs badly. ****, I don't even want to wait for Fall of 2017 -- our CB depth chart for this coming Fall is pathetic. But I also think we really need to build some quality depth on the OL. We only took one last year and he's a project, so I think 5 would be about right for this class. After CB, OL is probably our most important group for the '17 class.

A class size of 23 is reasonable, but Coach Richt has indicated that he anticipates between 20-21.

Does this apply to Roberts and Thompson? They committed to the last staff. It's a big gray area in this class right now. Is Richt honoring the verbals who were already committed or just slow playing them all until they decommit.
