My complete knee-jerk reaction to today's scrimmage

Part of the fun of sports and message boards in particular is doing what the OP has done here in making a "complete knee-jerk reaction" based on some small amount of information. No harm no foul. For those of you who have been on message boards for years, you already know that practice reports seldom tell the whole story. We know what we have in some positions as the players are a known quantity. We hope they will break old patterns of play (Thompkins, Mcgee, and Robinson, for example) but most often under the previous regimes they have not developed much. Let's see what magic the new staff can work. We'll have a good idea of who we are after our first game or two. Enjoy the ride.

Based on what I read about the O scoring as much as it did in the scrimmage I am either worried about our D which should be dominating still, or our O is way better at this stage than, based on all the changes in (RB, WR), and concerns about (OL) personnel) expected it would be, or both. IOW... we know nussing.

Good to hear that Mike James looks bigger and faster and that Duke literally is breaking ankles with his moves, and that we have some DB's emerging that can cover. Merrily I go, hoping for that break out season. Go Canes!

Keep in mind that they did a lot of redzone work in the scrimmage. Might have contributed to the inflated amount of scores
