Mullins, Bruce, Richards

Mullins won't have any time to learn the playbook. Don't think he'd make an impact this year until a few games into the season at the least. That's if he qualifies. Trayone Gray got in tho

Mullins is almost guaranteed to redshirt. Especially if Bruce and Richards come in as advertised. Mullins needs a year to get prepared for football and school at the college level. It not a bad thing to redshirt but if he can play like he did in the under armor game from the get go, he will find the field.

I think he'll probably see the field this year just because of the numbers at WR. In The spring game our backup WR's were 5'7 walk ons

No one has best biceps than Bruce and good biceps are the talisman of a great receiver.

Definitely.Randy Moss and Jerry Rice both had huge biceps or they would have just been jag's......Huge biceps are a sure indicator of future success....

What I just don't get is how Bruce can be so good, but have such bad stats. Under 10 yards a catch is pretty shocking for an all world WR. He certainly looks athletic and quick, but those numbers are just weird to me. A guy with his ability, you'd think, would take more short passes and turn them into long gains, thus boosting his average. So someone who has seen him play live explain this to me. Again, I'm not doubting his ability, just curious how an all world high school player can do so little stat wise and still garner such praise.

Here's hoping he comes in here and dominates...

Because he had 3 other division 1 WR's on Aquinas who he shared the ball with. Plus a division 1 TE in irvin

He was playing vanilla last year. Didn't want to give anyone any real tape on him. Trust me when I tell you this guy's going to work everyone.

Just watch the tape. Tape don't lie

Ok, that's a great reason as to why he had fewer catches. But why the 9 yard a catch average? You'd think with other big time WRs on the roster he'd have limited catches, but his YPC would be much, much higher. If he was the only guy a team could focus on to stop, I could see his numbers suffering. But especially since there were other quality WRs I just don't understand the low YPC. I'd expect him to be GREAT after the catch. You know, get the ball in his hands and let him make a play. But 9 yards a catch suggests this didn't happen often.

I'm not knocking him at all, I just don't understand the low average. We've seen RBs in high school average 9 yards a carry, so when I see a WR with that number it concerns me. Andre Johnson averaged what, 30 YPC his senior season? That was a sign of an explosive play maker heading to UM. But 9? That doesn't scream explosive, even though everyone says he's a very explosive play maker. I hope you all are right, because we need an explosive play maker at WR, badly.

9 YPC is almost a 1st down per catch while playing almost exclusively out of the slot. Plus 2-yard TDs on a slant will lower the avg some

Hard to believe that he wasn't doing his best to help his team win.....

If Superman can't get in, I'm going with Bruce.

If Superman gets in I'm going with Bruce.
