not everyone is checking up on the other thread so i figured it might be a good idea to just post it here for people to see.

he reported to practice this morning.

@BrianSeever-
"Per my solid source: Seantrel addressed the team last night and guaranteed no more problems. Apparently AG had enough and was waiting for him today to dismiss him. Kehoe and Linder brokered his return. Golden also received a call from B Mckinney last night on behalf of Seantrel. He's on a short leash, but coaches have never seen this side of him either. Worth another chance? You be the judge."

LOL at Seantrel running to McKinnie to talk to Golden for him. reminds me of when you're a kid and you do something wrong and you know that your dad is gonna whoop your *** when you get back home... so you call your mom to have her talk to him first to calm him down.

also, Joe Rose on 560 this morning claimed that Seantrel promised the team he would be more "committed" and that they would "kick some ***" this year. don't know how much of that was true quote or reiteration by the radio show.

@CanesWatch (Jorge Milian)-
"Al Golden said it will take 'some time' before Seantrel Henderson is fully integrated into practice"

Read: "He's going to go thru my punishment first before he actually gets back into actual practice."

And honestly--that's how it should be. You fvck up to the point of almost being off the team...then you pay the price, then you earn your way back into competition with the rest of the guys for the spot they took while you were gone. This is normal football stuff. If this were under Shannon or Coker, I guaran-****-tee that we would have heard about Seantrel's absence--and then lo and behold, he would have been right back this morning with the first team orange jerseys, and all would have been forgiven w/o any penalty.

It's really frustrating when people have every opportunity and resource at their disposal and they **** it up. He has a chance to stop acting like an idiot now and do the right things. Hopefully he takes this second chance and has a monster season.

Most of this.

Or Randall would have kicked him off for not doffing his cap upon addressing the maids in the hallway.

I'm cool with this one last chance...BUT, if he ***** up even just a little again, F him.

That dude is gonna catch some extra winds sprints quite possibly.

You gots to be about a DMF.

I'll say it tho, Seantel will be in hella good shape come September 1st. Hope he makes the most of what he's got in front of him, and leave B.Mac alone for a minute. Not time for lake parties just yet.

They should tie him to the goal post and smear **** under his nose.

I don't think there is any way he is back next year, regardless of his performance this year. Him and Golden have had multiple run-ins. I think both parties will agree to seperate after this season. This kid will be a 2nd round pick based on measurables alone.

Erick Flowers will step in nicely at RT next fall.

i wish Al would just get rid of him.

more of a headache than he's worth off the field.

I vote that the acronym "smh" be re-christened "Seantrel Mother****ing Henderson". To be used in exactly the same ways/contexts. Smh.

Approved.

SMH should film his audition tape for the Real World in preparation for this not working out.

Things just do not add up with him. On one hand he is a stand out in Utough. He has significantly dropped weight since Golden came in. On the field he seems to have it together when he plays. Yet on the other hand he has had multiple run ins with Golden, reports of smoking weed (may not be true), and then he just leaves the team without really letting Golden know what is going on. So on the surface he is not committed to the team and he even has to address the team to say now he is. But then you have coaches and players begging Golden to give him a second try. I just don't know what to make of it. I can easily see him becoming and All-ACC player this year and I can easily see him not finishing the season on the roster.

Isn't this more like his 4th chance?

Does anybody know exactly why he stayed up there for a few extra days?

well mcdermott said that he saw him on campus yesterday, but didn't know when he'd be reporting to practice.

so he hasn't been up there until today, he was already back. just wasn't practicing for whatever reason.

If this report is true--and based on what we know about Seantrel, I think it is--then maybe people will stop saying his absence was excused.

I'd say this is his LAST last chance.
