We desperately need a new coach, I wish Coach L would have retired after the finals run. We would have been the best job in college basketball. Now we’re just another bad ACC team that needs a complete rebuild which will hurt us attracting coaches

The problem with bringing in someone without a pedigree is Miami isn't thought of as a basketball destination. Kids came here more because of L rather than due to the reputation of the school.

True, we had some recent success. But, that's not enough to establish any sort of lineage. Exactly why I'd not want someone like Caputo here. While he's well connected and a tireless worker, he's lacks the kind of star power to attract the bigger names

The coach for the women’s team is killing it thus far. The coach Rad hired for Clemson also is. So I’d wait and see what he decides for MBB, at this point there’s no use in bribing L back.
