Morris

Not one of Morris' best games but WR didn't help him much. He's the least of our worries. Think we win if he doesn't get hurt.

we probably had 6 or 8 drops though, so those numbers are a bit misleading. those 2 interceptions however, were just ill-advised, poorly thrown balls

The first pick hits James in both hands, yea a little hard and little behind but he has to make the catch. The second pick is Dorsets fault IMO. The ball is in the air pd had plenty of time to under cut defender and honestly I think he did not want to drop it. If he is aggressive minimum incomplete pass.
pd needs to be benched just to clear his head.

Ball was thrown behind James who tried to make a one hand attempt at it. To be fair the OL let a free rushers in and Morris had to rush the throw. The second pick was all Morris. A pure Jacory chuck into double coverage. Should have never been thrown, their secondary played off all game and playing to take the deep ball away. You could argue that Morris should have had a third pick which one to Hurns on another Jacory chuck. He got lucky the CB got caught pushing Hurns (a call they don't usually make). Some of his other reads weren't great either and he underthrow others. The one that hit Dorsett in the facemask was too low. Dorsett tried to go down and get but he slipped. Just a bad game from him.

It's comments like this that are baffling. The first INT to James was high, hot and behind him. 100% on Morris. And how could anyone say that the next two were on anyone but Morris? He apparently hasn't learned that you can't throw the ball high with 15mph winds. Both times the WRs had to come back to try and make a play on the ball because it died in the air. Just dumb luck that the penalties took the one INT away. Dumb luck ran out Saturday, we sure got enough of it against NCSt and GT.

These players need to work on hand eye coordination and body coordination. Mark Duper and taking dance classes should would help this group.

UMFarArcher you really believe that? This is the same cat that did not throw to the sticks on 4th down

Kyle had the physical tools but something was missing. I fear we have much of the same in Morris. If he can improve like Jacory did for most of last yr that'd be great, but squeaking out wins over mediocre competition leaves us with a backup in 2014 with no experience whatsoever. ON the bright side there'll finally be some depth, but I for one don't believe Morris will take us anywhere but mediocre.

Amazing that this program hasn't had a decent backup (or QB) since...2003 & Brock?

I would like to see gifs of every pass thrown sat. or atleast incomplete I think morris is the best since brock. not saying much.

Morris is one of the ONLY parts of this team that gives me any reason for hope.

he has shown a lot this year. it is too bad that he couldnt redshirt last year.

our WRs are very average and drop a TON of balls. RBs are average. Duke COULD be special but he is an undersized true FR right now.

OL has done a good job pass blocking.

defense is a raging dumpster fire filled with raw sewage and gasoline

Agreed, how many drops before Williams was in? 5-6. How many INT off tipped passes?

I don't think this was on Morris.
