Morris

we probably had 6 or 8 drops though, so those numbers are a bit misleading. those 2 interceptions however, were just ill-advised, poorly thrown balls

I love Dorsett's play earlier in the year, and his potential, but how do you let the ball bounce of your shoulder pads (against ND) and hit you in the facemask twice (against UNC)?

i would argue that um has the best receiving corps in the conference, if they could just, you know, receive the ball.

I would argue the Canes receivers are mediocre at best. Hurns, Dorsett & Scott all lack NFL skills/potential, in addition to consistently dropping passes.

Those interceptions were ******* terrible. Jacory balls.

I hope he's healthy next week. We'll need him.

The Dorsett drop wasn't an ideal throw but very catchable. Then on the deep INT, I fet like Morris was forcing it to Dorsett to try and get him going.

The other pick Morris threw was just a terrible pass to Mike James. Morris still rushes throws sometimes when he doesn't have to.

Several of the drops were uncalled pass interference IMO. UNC got away with their DB's getting there a fraction early. The refs were once again retarded today. Don't even get me started on that delay of game on the going for 2.

Problem with Morris is teams are figuring out his weaknesses. He has happy feet. If you bring heat, he will roll out of the pocket way too early instead of stepping into it. He also gets cute with the deep ball. His deep reads were garbage today. Just winging it out there into double coverage. Then on the short routes, he's still throwing too high and too fast.

Fisch has REALLY got to figure out how to get the TEs involved more, and where have the passes to the backs gone? Did he throw to Duke once today? We need to get the intermediate stuff going again. I just dont like the rythym Fisch sets up for Morris. Its like the same laterals, or a quick hitch, and then bomb. Yet when our back is against the wall, somehow the intermediate stuff is there. I dont know why we dont do it more. Fisch made all this production about how "were going to take what they give us", but it seems like half the time he's trying to squeeze a square peg in a round hole.

That said, we are DEAD IN THE WATER without him. Sure hope it was just a minor sprain or something, or this season is done right now.
