Still SMH Golden starting the Jacory over the more talented QB in Morris.
This is the only thing I questioned Golden on.

There's a thing called development. You can get better. Golden isn't the only one who made that decision, Fisch obviously had a big say in the decision. Also, I don't understand how that's the only question you have about golden over these last couple years.

what does development have to do with not starting the more talented QB? He would have continued to develop as the starter.
This more than anything gave us a glimpse into how AL thinks. I think he went the easy route by starting Jacory. Which is fine given the circumstance and instability surrounding the team that year. Last thing he probably wanted to happen was to create a broken locker room.
And that's how I'll rationalize this.. but I feel like most coaches known for QB coaching (e.g. Spurried) would have gone with Morris from the get go and let the chips fall where they may. Had that happened Heading into his SR we may have been talking about the consensus top QB in America.
