More Defensive Coordinator candidates

This is the only Coach I would go nuts for.

Yep. He'd re-energize the program.

doubt d'onof gets fired for doing what he is being asked to by the head man

Wait...are you saying that this is Goldens defense. Is Golden forcing this on D'onofrio? Who knew? Thank you so much for enlightening us!!! If you ever posted anything else besides the fact that this Goldens defense we never would have known. Thank you so much for everything you contribute to the board. Geezus you're like a ***king broken record.

I would be very shocked if he returns. Donna can not afford to continue to see empty stands on game day, and if Mark returns sun life will continue to be lifeless.
I want D'Onofrio gone but I think it's going to take a lot more than a new DC to fill the stands at Sun Life.

everyone still thinks I am nuts (which I am) but if Ed O doesn't get the permanent job at U$C, then he would be a nice addition.

True but it's still a lot better to have 40-45k actual fans in the stands than 15k,which is what we will have the week after an opponent again shreads our D for 550 yds.

In the other thread about Aranda, I believe a coach name Sasquatch was mentioned, I don't know much about his schemes, but I think he'd be a good fit.

Narduzzi is obviously the cream dream, but zero chance it happens. He has no reason to come down here, he already has the #1 scoring and total D in the country at MSU. Nothing left to prove really. He'll either stay there, become a HC, or become an NFL coordinator. Maybe if Texas gives him a few mil, or USC, to be their DC.

But don't fret. A GREAT choice would be his DB coach of the last 7 years, Harlon Barnett. Barnett got started under Saban, then D'antonio and Narduzzi. His unit is what makes the entire thing work there, as their system allows for easy pattern reads, and more aggressive matchup zone and m2m. In addition, the dude can flat out coach DBs.

In addition, I'd move Barrow to full time Special Teams and have AG coach the LBs, while Barnett would assist with the DBs.
