Here are a few names I would like to see thrown in the hat, all of theses coaches run aggressive 3-4 schemes.

Lance Anderson: Stanford’s Outside LB coach and recruiting coordinator
Lance Thompson: Alabama Outside LB coach
Barry Odom: Memphis Defensive Coordinator & Safety Coach
Paul Tidwell: BYU Inside Linebacker Coach & Recruiting Coordinator
Mike Elston: Notre Dame Defensive Line Coach

I would be very shocked if he returns. Donna can not afford to continue to see empty stands on game day, and if Mark returns sun life will continue to be lifeless.

@DaU83,
U think Al is asking d'NOfrio to allow every **** team we play, 500+ yds per game!?
Scheme, yes! Execution, **** NO!

You guys continue to aim too low. UM shouldn't be looking at fugging position coaches from fugging BYU.

lulz. do you really think Donna gives a crap about football period?

if that were the case, we wouldn't have been this mediocre for this long.

someone high up might force Golden to let Ohno go but it won't be Donna.

se too busy brainstorming ways to "fix" bama care

I believe Whithers coordinated a horrific defense at Minnesota a few years back and everyone laughed at him as a potential DC candidate.

Not saying he's good or bad. Just saying that the winds change around here.

I can't see Golden scapegoating MDO. Golden might change his scheme, but I'll bet he'll allow MDO a chance to make the adjustments.

For example, if Al decides to play with one-gap principles and more single-high safety looks, he'll let MDO do that.

Wasn't the same thing said about the Jedd Fisch hire?

Watch the Penn State vs Wisconsin game today, an you will see UM's next Def Coor Dave Aranda calling plays for Wisconsin. He runs an aaggressive attacking 3-4 with quarter zone on the back end. His defense is Top 10 in almost every category.

Go Canes
