Moose Griffith commits

I haven't read much about a lot of these PWOs however our longsnapper, Clay James, got some nice press when he committed. He said flat out that he got a gray-shirt offer but wants to be on campus in the fall. Since he will be there, it is considered a PWO. Gray-shirt means you enroll in January. They brought him in with all the our Storm18 guys for his OV. You gotta believe they will scholarship him as soon as they can.

Fast forward to some of these other, later PWOs some of these guys will be on scholarship soon. Either way our PWOs are good athletes and will provide some depth. UM is 65k a year. For an athlete with scholarship offers else where to come and pay says A LOT about them wanting to be CANES.

As many as they can.

It's hard as **** to get good PWO's to a private school. The fact that we're actually getting decent talent there is awesome. Even if they never play meaningful snaps, if they can help the scout team, that's huge.

It seems like they are bringing in some high quality walk ons also... Its amazing what having a legitimate coach running the program can do. The results are speaking for our coaching staff.

This kid isn’t paying 65k, he for sure got an academic scholarship. My sister had an insane SAT score and left UM with a Masters Degree in 5 years, and didn’t pay a dime.

I've never understood bashing kids that commit to Miami. He is coming here to try and make this team better despite knowing that it will cost his family money and nothing is guaranteed. I'll take that all day over a kid that has a high sense of entitlement and is looking to transfer before he gets his Halloween candy first semester.

Great Name. Great Strength. Has a lot of potential for us and has the body type that you want in the trenches. Don't sleep on this Kid! Great win for our team and CMR!!!!

True. Private schools can offer TONS more financial aide than UF or FSU. Some of these PWOs are turning down Ivy's where they would have got a ton of academic money as well. My point was they are quality and WANT to be a Cane. It doesnt get better than that.

Also, tell you sister to share her secrets!!! Debt free? These walk-ons could use the advice!
