if he wants to be coached by Searles over Mario and Mirabal, kid needs to have his head examined.

Now if he’s more acclimated to a Southern Boy lifestyle given he’s from SCar…can’t fault him.

Feel like this is just some regular UGA fluff though, he seemed to be all Cane and was just waiting for the green light. “I want to put in CB’s for…”… well then just sack up and do it. That’s some Gaby type wording.

He’s actually from the PNW originally, hasn’t been in SC very long. We just need to get him back on campus.

We went back north to visit family and friends about a month ago. Took all the kids to Hershey Park then decided to drive down 77 to change it up. Made unreal time. A little slow through Charlotte but it was rush hour. Then we got to 26. 2 extra hours. Two lane highways all over the state. Even 95. I don’t get it.

It's the worst. I was working up in Greenville when the big solar eclipse took place a few years ago. My brother drove up with my nephew, and I warned him about 26 and 95 getting back down to Orlando. I told him everything would get better as soon as he hit the Georgia state line.

I was not wrong.

He could be hearing footsteps from Mauigoa and a potential Samson commit. I like the kid a ton, most years, he would not only be the OL jewel of the class but potentially the best overall player, but Mario has us punching in a different weight class now.

He’s from the Pacific NW…family moved to SC due to virus football restrictions.

I have to drive down that road in a few months - what I've gathered from this thread is that I shouldn't stop for any reason.

They have gas in Georgia AND North Carolina. And bring a cooler for your food and drinks.

Greenville, Charleston, and Columbia are OK places to get off the interstate in SC. Other than that, you take your life into your own hands.

Every AA that I know or been introduced to when I'm in Athens, always say "there is nothing in Athens, you gotta go the ATL if you want to do something". ATL is like going from Coral Gables to West Palm. Luckily my Buddy's wife doesn't drink, but likes to hang out.

Lol. I drove from Savannah to Tennessee and was on it for a good amount of the drive. I agree with everyone's recommendations, stick to stopping in Columbia 🤣

We used to stop in Florence, SC regularly pre-2008 or so. Had decent hotels and a few good restaurants. We started going up 81 instead of 95 so we haven't been back.
