Exactly. Last year was an aberration as we caught some significant breaks, particularly in the FSU, GT and UNC games. We could've easily gone 8-5. We closed last season off in craptascular fashion. In terms of Richt finding a job worthwhile elsewhere, I highly doubt it. Mack Brown got it simply by name recognition and because he knows UNC fairly well. Richt knows Georgia and Miami. He's failed (about to fail at Miami) at both. Richt is not a great hire anymore as the shine has all but worn out.

Come on my guys, you are reaching for every little thing...I remember Bama having one or two awful years with Saban. It happens. But for a long part of his career Richt had very solid special teams. I agree punting needs to improve IMMEDIATELY

Special teams have been awful all 3 years while he's been at Miami.

You’re not very bright if you don’t realize that: Brown was out of coaching for several years (different from the claims of the goofballs here that Rick would be snapped up immediately); Brown actually won a NC; Brown was UNC’s most successful HC, and they’re clearly looking to rekindle that magic; Brown has infinitely more energy and charisma than Rick and actually wants to be a HC unlike Rickety, who has abandoned recruiting.

On top of failing at UM, any potential employers would look at how much better Spermy Fart has made UbaGA in almost no time. A lot of people thought he did a good job there, but in light of Fart’s results, his run at UbaGA is completely diminished.

You're smarter than this. It's fine to be critical and ****ed and criticize Richt for whatever you want. But you're a smart guy, you know once you're in the cocoon of coaches like Richt is, you need to basically pull a Zach Smith to be blacklisted. Richt, if he wanted, could get a job in a day if he left Miami.

3 years ago he was being courted by several schools immediately after his dismissal from UGA. Since, he's won a bowl game, won 10 games, won a division at Miami that had never previously been won, and played in a NY6 game. The overall results are not satisfactory for us, for sure, but his track record could get him another job instantaneously. And you know it. Be critical if you'd like, but you know as well as anyone the majority of people around here have essentially zero original thoughts and just join the mob and yell whatever else is being yelled loudest on the board. No reason to round up sheep to join the "Richt is so bad nobody else would hire him" train. Because it's just nonsense.

So far 2 of the 3 years have been our best in 16 years. Just beating FSU in Miamis a plus.
