What do mean, they are not treated like family there... Ha. Saban don't give a chit about anybody who doesn't turn into a superstar. Bama is all business. Saban sells a easy path to the NFL, but reality shows there are lots of ways / paths / teams that will get you there...

The kid is an athlete, not a rhodes scholar. They shouldn't have to go to class to begin with. The whole "student athlete" farce is stupid.

And that logic is why so many of the ones who actually make it end up broke once the checks stop rolling in. It's an incredible disservice to the kids to not make them go to class and be better students.

Yep.
I go back a few years - the 1970s to be precise, and played for a very strong Hialeah-Miami Lakes
program that had solid coaches in Joe Brodsky, Walt Frazier as OL coach, Mike Uspensky,etc, and
I could never picture those coaches pulling half of the garbage that these new era soFLa
coaches do, especially with the academc cheating stuff.
We've got immature, if not irresponsible, boys disguised as high school football coaches.
Shameful.
 
You guys ***** and moan about entitled young athletes but you're okay with a high school coach cheating for a kid. LOL

**** like that is exactly how these kids become spoiled and entitled.
