People need to leave these kids alone. It's pathetic. Maybe I'm just old, but I think sending any kind of message to a 17-18 year old about THEIR decision to play for a school that you more than likely didn't even attend is a bit concerning. "Please play for my team, or my life will have no meaning". It's just creepy.

Totally flippable if we don't land MJJ in my opinion. Not a good QB situation there with Sunshine from Remember the Titans coming in this year. Kid has no chance to see the field until Jr. or most likely Sr. year.

Clemson also offered Graham Merz in the past couple of weeks.

Doesn't his father coach at Oregon? How does that play out if he doesn't go there?

My gut tells me we don’t land this kid & it has for some time. Like I said before if we whiff on him I want a local kid.

People can bash Lincoln all they want, but two things are worth pondering:

1. Nebraska LOVES their football. That is a fantastic environment to play college ball in. If you've been there, you know.
2. So Scott Frost is recruiting you as a dual threat QB in a dual threat QB offense? Hard not to pay attention to that, plus he can flat out recruit.

I agree about Nebraska. I think this could be the real dark horse. MJJ called Frost "an offensive genius"
 
I was hoping we were going to really recruit Spencer Rattler from Phoenix. We just can't put all of the eggs in the MJJ basket. I haven't had a good feeling about him for a minute. The QB board is becoming thin. I mean, unless we start recruiting the **** out of Grant Gunnell from TX (a state known for producing top tier QBs), we might be left w/o a QB. I feel b/c we put so much stock in the MJJ basket, we're going to be left hanging.
