Simpson comes in and drops the 2 DLs we had committed. Why would we have any confidence in the prior defensive staff’s evals?

That said, I think Chantz is gonna ball under Simpson’s coaching. .

Simpson was recruiter or co-recruiter of the DL Class of 2019 (Harvey, Cameron Williams, Blissett, Harrison-Hunte and Holley). These are his kids. Blissett is a medical. But the other four need to perform now.

That said, I think if you find a Phillips type on the market, you'd be insane not to take your shot. I don't think anyone so far shows they're a step function better than what we already have on roster.

Houston has had some good DL the last few years,just had Payton Turner go in the 1st.If this kid is anywhere near him talent wise we need to take a real close look.
