Mike James vs. Lamar Miller

After everything. Lamar Miller 2 yards total mike James 41 in about what seemed to be about 2 minutes of play. And you wonder why they say stay your *** in college. This why FSU and the SEC put out so many busts in the league.guys who think they have 24-26 games and all of a sudden they're a God Send. Like I said before Mike James will have the better career. It's crazy that I played agains miller and how good he was as a high school sophomore. Now this smh.

Drew Rosenhaus. Cnt stand that guy. He had a role to play in the Canes leaving early. He tells them how high they'll go...and then Miller and B. Harris happens

Relax, the Dolphins OL is an absolute joke and the Bucs are a pretty stout run defense. Not saying Lamar leaving was a smart decision, but he's still a good back when given an opportunity.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Mike James fractured his left ankle in Monday night's game against the Dolphins and is "out indefinitely."
James gashed the Dolphins for 41 yards on five carries on the opening drive, getting the offense down to the one-yard line before he was carted off the field following a tackle where Dannell Ellerbe landed on James' ankle and trapped it between the turf and Ellerbe. James is still undergoing tests, but initial X-rays revealed a fracture. The severity isn't yet known. Brian Leonard has been getting much of the work in James' absence, though Bobby Rainey has been sprinkled in and has scored a touchdown. James' rookie season may be over.

I don't think Lamar's performance has much of anything to do with leaving early. With his shoulder issues and the short shelf life of NFL RBs, I don't blame him at all for leaving early and minimizing the wear and tear on his body. I disagreed with the decision of most the kids that left early that year, but agreed with Lamar's choice.

I'm bummed for Mike James. He was looking great and had this season open to help solidify his place in the NFL. It was going perfectly for him. I hope he makes it all the way back and can regain the starting spot in that backfield.

When it's all said and done I think Mike has a better career (barring injury) a class act who didn't chase the cash like Lamar. Could you imagine the sgable that would be hwre if he didn't bounce? Him, storm and duke would TERRORIZE defenses.

SMH at this jinx right here. Anyway, can't blame Lamar for leaving after 3 years. RBs careers are too short in the NFL. Get that money while you can. He was still picked a lot higher in the draft than Mike James. Hopefully Mike heals quick and they both have long successful careers.

This. Plus the risk of returning is so high for RB's. I hate fans that can't just be happy for a guy whose making his dreams come true, playing for the hometown team in the NFL. He wasn't gonna stay 2 extra years and we were fine last year with Duke and Mike James so I don't understand what everybody is so butthurt about anyways.

Guys like Streeter, Washington, and Forston are the headscratchers to me, although I don't think anybody expected Streeter to flame out like he has, least of all Streeter. IIRC he tore it up at the combine too. He just needed a little work.

Be happy but then complain about depth issues and not having guys good enough. Got it. Then duke goes down and there's a meltdown.
