Theres no such thing as a Mike James hater.

Everyone lieks Mike James and hopes he does well.

He had a great game today. Ran harder than I've ever seen him.

He's just an average back though. That's it.

Broke tackles that he wouldn't have in the past and hit the hole hard. I also thought he blocked well in pass protection, although Tech didnt seem to blitz much until late

Im here for the negging ..but he should be running like that every game..WHy did it take 4 years to see the ability for a 220 pound RB to break tackles? NIce game son..keep it coming

This is why I wanted MJ to start over Duke for the rest of the season. Duke will take over the occasional game (incredible for a true freshman, kid will win the Heisman one day barring injury), but James is ready to take over the season.

when he doesn't have defenders grabbing at his ankles in the backfield he can actually get some momentum going and run behind his pads. hit him high and he's tough to bring down. get at his legs and he loses balance quick, but thats why RBs are taught to run behind their pads in the first place.

was a great game for him and the team. i was swinging my daughter around at the game like a maniac once he broke free in OT.

He went off yesterday no doubt, but I thought Fisch used him the way he should be used, in fact, all of our RB's were well used. Duke and James are great compliments of each other because of style, reminds me of little of what we had with James Jackson and Edge James. CLements is allowed to come in and do what he does, plow through the line with reckless abandon and pick up the tough yards. When we dont abandon the running game and make it obvious when and where Mike is getting the ball, he has shown to be affective.

But yeah, that's a legendary game there yesterday.

LOL I love seeing some detractors I battled with about MJ eating crow,

No, you're still wrong about everything you say.

Aren't you the Lamar Miller slurper?

:ibisroflmao:

We've won 3 games without that softie. And he would have made no difference against us at KSU - that game's still a loss even with Lamar "duck dive" Miller playing. lol. If he were still here, he'd be breaking down right about the ND game, probably wearing down and disappearing as we head into critical ACC games, and you'd still be sticking up for him like a dreamy little fangirl.

:rollcanes:

i hate our fans.

For me, one of the most impressive things MJ did was not fumbling when he stretched out at the goal line and got hit in the arm with a helmet. Dude was death-gripping that thing.
